Rented Love Dec. 16th, 2006 @ 02:44 am
I am dying to take my mom to New York to see some Broadway plays. I feel terrible because she hasn't seen a single show in New York but she's been there a handfull of times. My mom never goes to shows because Dad hates them so I think I'm going to suggest going to see Rent and Wicked to her. I think she would really love those shows if she saw them live, and I really want to be the first person to show her them.

I see her eyes light up when I come home and it makes me feel so good. I can't live here because the money is horrible, and it is going to be harder leaving home then it was when I went to Morgantown. When I went to Motown I was glad to start anew because of how bad my home life was. Tiffany was the only person I pretty much cried to about leaving. I didn't want to leave her and we sat and cried before we both left for college and swore to each other we wouldn't grow apart. Thankfully we haven't. We both still love one another so much and call each other more than most people do leaving hundreds of miles apart.

But now everything has changed. Mom has become accepting. Bryon is constantly calling to see what I am doing. It is amazing. People can change. I have a niece who I love more than life itself and she can't even set up on her own right now.

Unconditional love.

I love where I am right now in life. I love my friends. I love my family. I love my boyfriend. I love my career.

This is the first year in my life where I've said Merry Christmas without feeling like a jackass. It felt so good to say it to my friends. I am thankful this Christmas. Everything seems to be going well (knock on wood). I am happy. I feel good.

So, as to taking my mom to New York...the first subject...I want to. I want to show her so many things she doesn't know about. I want to laugh and cry and applaud with her. I want my mom to experience my world.

I want her to be.

Give My Regards to Broadway Nov. 12th, 2006 @ 05:08 pm
This weekend has been hands down the most fun weekend I've had in a long time! It started on Thursday and didn't end till the early hours of last night. Talk about in for the long haul! Thursday Catie, Gary, Brett, Curtis, Ryan and I went to Chic~N~Bones for the usual wings and 25 cent beer. Josh Adili ended up joining us and we just sat around and shot the shit like always. The best part of it though was we ran into Doss, Copper, and Davis (WHO I HADN'T SEEN IN MONTHS!) and we all sat together. It felt like old times.

Of course, it was Josh Adili's birthday the next day so we decided to go to Vice and celebrate his birth a midnight like the good friends we are haha It was so much fun. I hadn't been to Vice in forever, but I saw lots of people I hadn't seen in forever and it was just fun. I didn't drink at Vice though because Josh gave me his keys to drive him home and then at the end of the night he ended up taking them back. He shouldn't have, but I couldn't get him to give me back his keys after he took them out of my pocket. He so ended up sleeping in his car right in front of his house. I thought that was priceless.

On Friday it was time to actually really celebrate Josh's birthday so we all went down to Stephen's house and drank and then hit the club again. Once again it was a blast. I really love hanging out with the gay group because they are all just so funny. Mark playing with a bannana the entire time we were at Stephen's was hilarious. He so went and smacked some random guy in the face with it and the guy was just like WTF. Josh also got a "birthday" lap dance that was really funny. Josh bailed early at the bar, but he said he had a really good time which is what a good birthday is supposed to be.

Saturday, game day, I headed to the game with the boys. Brett called me and gave me a ride which was awesome. We sat with Mark, Josh, Rick, Brian (who was HILARIOUS he totally hit on a girl that he thought was Jessica and then fell down three rows of bleechers), Jessica, Sunjay, and some guy that they kept saying looked like the lead singer from All American Rejects but I didn't think so. Josh and I left at halftime because we wanted to just sit and drink some beer so we called Ryan and he came and picked us up and drove us to Sheets where I got carded for buying a bag of chips. Josh was buying beer in front of me and apparently since you could tell we were friends they had to make sure he wasn't buying his underage friend some beer. I was really pissed and Josh just said really loud that it was stupid and sheets was going to hell....after he had paid for the beer of course. We went back to Josh's and drank until Mark lit up Josh's phone enough to prompt us to go over to his house and hang out until dinner. On the way over Josh....who had been drinking all day....drove and waved a state trooper down to ask if he could turn around in the middle of the road which they state trooper was just like SURE GO AHEAD BUDDY. I found that extremely amusing especially when Josh talked to another state trooper while we were waiting in traffic. He is crazy. So we hung out at Mark's for awhile and then Mark, Josh, Sunjay, Rick, and I met up with Ryan at Applebee's for dinner. It was yet again a hilarious time, and Josh and I were the alcoholics at the table. After that they headed off to the AAR concert and I went home and watched a really sad but good film about Nazi schools (Before the Fall in case you are interested...it's foreign though!). Well Brett called me and was like we're going over to your favorite lesbians house to drink so obviously I said yes. While there we played beer pong(I lost) and flip cup (I won) and then did something you would only find at a party with drunk gay people. We totally performed The Producers, Rent, and Chicago. We were all characters and it was hilarious as hell. I was Carmen Ghia, Angel, and then Chicago we all kinda just sang to every song. It was so funny though my favorite lesbian and her girl friend were like ok Rent you are going to be angel because you have such a pretty face and you can pull it off. Which Brett was setting beside me and lights up and says "OH ME THANKS?" To which they are like hell no not you we're talking about Ben. It was great. I mean it was just absolutely one of the best things I've ever done while drinking haha. After that though I had to follow Brett to Vice because he had too much everclear and I knew if I didn't go something bad would have happened to him so I followed him and ended up taking care of him. He got sick and I had to drive him home. I felt bad for him because I hate it when people get sick like that because it just is not a good experience for either party. Oh well I had a lot of fun before hand and Brett would have done the same for me. It was kinda funny at Vice though I saw yet more people I hadn't seen in forever. I love seeing Drew Holmes because I'm always like you whore (jokingly) and he laughs and tells me to come to his birthday party. Some random guy grabbed me and made out with because he was kissing another guy at the bar and drunk me says hey there is no gay pda allowed at this bar. His response was to grab my face and shove his tongue down my throat at the joke lol He was hott but still I was like AH! People also kept asking me if I got wet because I had yet to be home and was still wearing my mountaineer gear...which makes me looking straight. It got old after awhile. Anywho, it was a freaking blast of a weekend. I hate that I have to go to school Monday. Ugh. Ah well I will be entertained by the thoughts of this past weekend haha

Wow that was a long entry!

Rain Rain Go away you went away but not in time for yesterday! Sep. 3rd, 2006 @ 07:36 pm
Once again I made the trek up to New York City this past weekend. I swear I love going up to that city every few months. It's so much fun! This time I took Ryan up to my aunt's house in Pennsylvania to meet everyone. He got to meet the entire family, plus the two newest members, Dan and Matt. Dan is Susan's new boyfriend who we think is a "serious boyfriend" and Matt is Katies boyfriend. I really enjoyed meeting both of them and thought they were both great choices for my cousins. Also, everyone seemed to enjoy meeting Ryan and he fell in love with Susan and Katie. I mean how could you not? Those girls are freaking hilarious. Ryan also seemed to enjoy my aunt's house because let's face it....they are rich and their house is ENORMOUS! It sucks though because we didn't get to swim in the pool because it rained all freaking weekend! It was fun to be stuck in the house with my family though.

Funny quote from the weekend: Matt is doing magic tricks for everyone around the table, and I'm on the second floor balcony looking down on them....
Me: "You know it really destroys the magic from this angle. Plus, I can see down Susan's shirt." It was funny at the time!

Well since it rained all weekend Ryan and I didn't go into the city until about 6:30 because there was no point. New York City is miserable in the rain. We got there like an hour before the show started so we just walked down to the theatre and waited in front of it. The show was freaking awesome. The special effects were amazing! It's amazing what they can do on stage these days. I mean the shipwreck the mom and dad were thrown into the water and they were suspended like they were under the water and it was beautiful. Then they ended up on the beach but the beach was the back drop so it was like the audience was the sun. FREAKING AWESOME! The gorillas swinging out over the audience were awesome! Jane got stuck in a spiderweb that took up the entire stage. There were giant flowers and butterflys. WOW. It was just amazingly beautiful! So was Tarzan haha! His voice was amazing. Jane's was also great, but I think the best voice was Terk's. He hit notes that I was like HOLY SHIT! AND UPSIDE DOWN SWINGING HAHA. Very impressive! I didn't like Mr. Clayton though. He was played as an imbreed hick. Very stupid! Also, Phil Collins needs to learn how to write opening and closing numbers. I mean the beginning sounds like it needs to go on like a minute longer with a key change and the end just ended so abruptly. Jane came running back on and kissed Tarzan. He attached his vine to her and they were pulled up sining TWO WORLDS ONE FAMILY! And that was it. No big choral number. No BANG. NO HOLY CRAP THIS WAS THE SHIT!!! Other than that though it was a freaking awesome show. Ryan loved it and New York City so we'll probably be going back up in the near future haha. Katie is trying to get me to come up for Christmas again. Ah if only I was made of money lol

The weekend was awesome.....except for some drama involving my brother getting kicked out of my apartment by Rachel which I am furious about but not in the mood to get into on here. I honestly do not need to be called when in New York because a minor inconvience occurs, and my brother does not need thrown out of my apartment when he didn't do a damn thing when he has no where else to stay. That should be an experience when Rachel and I have that one out.

I haven't talked about my classes yet because they kinda suck. Theatre is going to be boring, Education classes are pointless and long, Human Sexuality is ok, C and I SUCKS LIKE ALWAYS, and I think that's all of them. I love being at Bridgeport, but driving there two days a week sucks because of gas. Oh well. It's my favorite part of this semester. Being Mr. Thomas is scary but fun!

Alas, I have yet again grown bored with attempting to think of things to say so I'll just update sometime when I feel like I should haha

My beach trip was great. Lot's of fun finally hanging out with the girl that's going to be my future sister in law. Love that girl.

My sister had her baby. Ava Elyzabeth Hunt. Seven pounds and six ounces. Very healthy. Very cute. Yep, her uncle loves her very much.

Grover's Corners sucks my left nut. Yes I am never that vulgar, but I hate filming this movie. Ugh. It needs to be done this week.

I'm looking at moving back up to Motown this coming Monday because I am ready to get back. Plus, I need to start looking for a job which totally stinks. I didn't want to work, but I think it would be a good idea to keep money in my pocket. Also, I only have one class Monday and Two on Wednesday so I'll be pretty free. Especially since I'm kinda looking to see if I can drop my Monday/Wednesday class but I dunno. We'll see how that pans out.

Ah well I have to film tonight BLAH! The call was supposed to be at 9:30 but Greg just called and said it was moved up to 8:50. WTF. Very unprofessional GAWD.

Later Kiddos.

Ugh

Ok so today was supposed to be my last day at work and yesterday they talked me into working a double, and working Sunday. Well I get there today and start working an empty grill (we didn't serve food today). I had maybe 10 customers for hours and all they could get were drinks. So, instead of setting on my butt I actually cleaned the entire morning. I got there at 7 adn I was actually enjoying blarring music downstairs while I rearranged things because hey that's just me. I continue doing that right up until I get pulled outside to serve the lunch to the golfers. That was so so but anyway in the middle of that we run out of BBQ and Lauren calls upstairs and they are like we are all busy up here come get it yourself. She walks up and our boss is setting at his desk talking to our other boss about nothing. So we finish that up and I clean up all the tables outside and inside. I also sweep the floor and I finish so I'm like ok I'll go upstairs for a few. So I'm upstairs leaning up against the bar talking to my two server friends (and the really hot straight guy I don't know) and Duane and Nick come out and yell at me. They literally yell at me that I need to get outside and finish cleaning up (my part was done the cook was cleaning up his part) and I replied that I was taking a break. They started yelling at me some more and I was just like listen you have to give me a break I've been here since 7 actually working and Duane cuts me off with I've been here since 5....(he got there at 6 and left at 7 and didn't come back till almost 11)and Nick piped in with when you've worked 8 hours then you can have a break. this was a little after 3. I started at 7. Basically, I just looked at them and said whatever walked downstairs grabbed my stuff, told Chad goodbye, went upstairs and told Brett goodbye, and then clocked out without saying a word to Duane or Nick. I'm sorry but you do not yell at me when I've been working eight hours straight. You especially don't yell at me when I'm working as a favor to help them out. And you ESPECIALLY don't yell at me in front of three other servers. Like I told Brett, I have principles and nobody talks to me that way. Screw them! The only sad part is Lauren was going to have a surprise going away party for me tomorrow. She baked cookies and was going to draw Tarzan on them, and she also had balloons. How upsetting. I'm missing my first surprise party. We're supposed to all go out sometime soon though so I'll get to see her again and say a proper goodbye. Plus, she has my Steel Magnolias and Hocus Pocus movie lol

Another thing that's pissing me off... Grover's Corners

Ok don't get me wrong. I love filming it. I think it's an awesome experience and I love working with my fellow cast. However, I am highly annoyed with how unorganized it is. We don't have a filming schedule. We're called the afternoon of the shoot and told where to be and usually we don't find out which scene we're filming till we get there. It also pisses me off that they're like everyone meet at 9 and we'll start filming as soon as it gets dark. We usually start filming till after 10:30 because they take forever setting up the equipment. I'm sorry if you're going to call the cast in to film right when it gets dark, HAVE THE PLACE SET UP SO YOU CAN START FILMING AT DARK. It pisses me off highly. I was an hour late yesterday to filming and when I got there they still hadn't finished setting up and Dan made a smart ass comment about having to wait an hour and a half (he didn't say my name but I was the only one who was late). What difference did it make?!? We didn't start filming till close to 11. They just really need to be more organized because right now GC is just a pain in my ass. Oh and I really didn't like Dan's comment to the cast about how we've finally become our own characters and better actors because Stull was gone. FUCK THAT! We did not act to Stull we acted with him. Look back in my entries and you'll notice how I commented how awesome I felt acting with Stull because we gave each other so much. And another big FUCK THAT because Frank was Frank while Stull was there. The first time I played him I just played him. This past time on stage I thought hard about my character and made adjustments to suit him better. I'm sorry but I think that comment was extremely shitty and not the best way to motivate the cast. Basically, Grover's Corners needs to be MUCH MORE organized with filming times and locations. Oh and don't say Dan probably didn't mean it like that, I don't care. Even if you don't mean it like that, that's a shitty thing to say.

Sorry this is a big rant entry but work got me fired up. Believe it or not I actually started the day off at 6am in such a good mood. Ah who cares. I need to get drunk tonight or something to celebrate standing up for myself at work. Anyone want to join?!?

» OMG THE 6 DAY OF THE 6 MONTH OF THE 6 YEAR AHHHH
Let's see...I haven't updated since the first weekend of Grover's Corners was over so let's start from there.

Grover's Corners
Even though that is the last time I'll probably ever play Frank in front of a live audience, it was still nice to see the show close. I really enjoy being in it, and I love the people but it was crazy stress this time around. It was definitely the strict rehearsal schedule. The show went off without a problem, and I thought the best night was the last one. I felt really good about it, and I think we ended on a major high note. Ryan came and saw it and it wasn't his favorite show, but he said the acting was awesome! Yay for us. I was really depressed we didn't get to the last cast party (Stull is gone *tear*), but I sided with Ryan on that one. I wasn't going to make him feel uncomfortable. I really wish I would have gotten to hang out with the cast since the seven of us bonded majorily. I mean honestly how can you not share the stage pretty much every second of the show and not bond? Yea the answer is you can't! Oh well I wish I would have been able to, but hey what can you do. Anywho, I'm excited/nervous to film the movie. It should be a very interesting/frustrating/awesome/bitch of a thing to film but I am looking foreward to being able to say HEY I WAS IN A MOVIE BITCHES!!!

Vacation
Vacation was a lot of fun. Ten of us rented two cabins at Blue Stone Lake and let's just say we were the only people in the freaking State Park. Every cabin was empty and it was badass because we had the two best. They overlooked the lake and it was beautiful! Each one had three bedrooms and it was just super nice! I shared a cabin with Ryan(obviously), Tiffany, Jeff, and Rachel Brabbin. In the other cabin was Josh, Rachel Moss, Bryon, Gene, and Holt. We fish, swam, played games, watched movies, hung out, cooked out, and oh yea got wasted!!! I drank every freaking night I'm such an alcoholic but hey it was vacation lol The only shitty part was Rachel Moss was being a bitch pretty much the whole time and Josh was being a big vag. I dunno what their problems were, pretty much that they need to stop fucking each other. UGH don't even get me started!! Anyway I had a blast with Tiffany and Jeff, Rachel B is one of my favorite girls to hang out with, Bryon was hilarious as always, Gene had his famous one liners, and Holt was Holt, basically he said things that cracked me up. It was a great trip and I had lots of fun. Ryan and I only got into a few tiffs but so did Tiffany and Jeff haha We knew it was going to be happen, so we took it all in stride. We usually made up like five minutes later lol Such geeks. Oh yea and one of the best things is I got a good deal of it on tape SCORE!!!! Let's just say it's quite special

My Job
I love Lauren and James, I love my actual work, but I am super pissed about some things. One is they have four people working down at the grill and we only need two. They hired this new kid Jeremiah and he is worthless. He's this big flamer who talks about how guys just use him for sex (he is fat and not attractive), he doesn't do anything (his first three days he called off and he has refused to do a shitload of things one of which is to go work at the pool which is what he was hired to do), he gives me major attitude (which I dispise), and he's a big gossip who attempts to spread rumors and tells the boss everything we say. He pissed me off majorily today because he attempted to spread a rumor about me saying something i didn't say about our boss, he got pissed because Lauren (the cook that was hired the same day as me) likes me A LOT more than him. He was pouting that she was ignoring him and she was like omg what the hell is wrong with him. Anyway the thing that pisses me off the most is I HAVE TO SPLIT MY TIPS WITH HIM. I do like 3 times as much as he does and he gets equal cut. That is major bull shit. I went up and told the Chef today that we didn't need four people down there and he was like yes you do. I proceeded to say no Sleepy Hollow is paying two people to basically just stand there, and he was like I don't care. UGH. Then I proceeded to hit home with, well I don't like the fact that I do more work and have to give someone else half my tips. He was basically like I don't care. UGH. James threatened to quit today because we were all so pissed off. The Chef better get his shit together or he's going to lose his staff. Two people have already quit since I've been there and that doesn't include James who threatened to quit today and probably will. This better clear up because my first two weeks were awesome (including my pay check!). Keep your fingers crossed for me.

Today I went over to my sister's and helped her paint the baby's room. Awwwww. Except I'm annoyed because it's pink and I told her that was totally cliche, but thank god I showed up at the store to help her buy the paint. I made her go with the lighter pink color so that's good. After that I went and enjoyed a movie with Sarah. Let's just say Sarah and scary movies do not equal a scary time but a funny time watching Sarah cower and cling lol We saw the Omen (a very good remake) and Sarah was scared shitless. She had to have her "comfort food" and my arm. Awww how cute! Mia Farrow was crazy psycho in that movie!!!! She was badass and that's why Sarah better look out because she is going to jump in front of her car with a sledge hammer! haha That or she's going to roll over and see Damien beside her bed with a noose or knife haha She is going to kill me!

AHHHHHHHHHH CRAZY MIA FARROW!!!!!!!!!
» FO REAL
The first week of Grover's Corners is over and all I have to say is THANK GOD. Doing that show for so many days in a row is hell. I felt really good about the first night we performed it, but the second night I felt terrible about the show. Aw well I have a break till Thursday so I'm good.

Last night was the cast party at Stull's and it was lots of fun. I love Stull he's such fun. I also love the entire cast so ya know. I did get pissed about everyone saying they are worried about Matt doing the part of Allen and me being the only one to say it to him. It just really annoys me. It's not anyone it's just me being a bitch. I also got really pissed that Matt attempted to sleep in the bed I was going to sleep in. It just really pissed me off, and I really didn't want to get bitchy and pouty because apparently someone has told Dan that I am a notorious angry drunk and I didn't want anyone to believe that. Oh well for the most part I had fun and I hope the guys don't think anything bad about me.

Welp apparently Bryon and I are going to the movies to see Poseidon so I gotta go.....

"GIVE ME YOUR HAND"

» Welcome back to SA!!!! AGAIN
Hola Chicos, as you can tell from the subject I am back home. I've been back here since Tuesday and let's just say the first week was BORING AS HELL! I was just sleeping and basically going over to Libby's house to hang out. I did go to a baseball game last Thursday and that was cool. It was dollar beer night and let's just say I got pretty wasted. It was a blast though. I saw Jessica who said she was going to be in Grover's Corners with us and then come Sunday she didn't show up. I wonder where she's at.

Anywho grades came in from WVU and I was very pleased with all of them except one. I got A's in everything except freaking Mythology which I got a B+ in. Stupid British lady. I probably had like a 89% or something. The final freaking raped me because everything she put on the study guide to study somehow didn't make it over to the test. We were all pissed. Oh well, that's like a 3.8 or something, which is VERY VERY good considering this semester I went on a little alcohol binge haha It was pretty much my last semester to drink during the week so I took advantage of it lol I'm one of those alcoholics that function well though when they need too haha

I've started my summer job. I absolutely love it. I'm working at Sleepy Hollow golf course at the grill. Basically it's like a mini resturant. It only has like 9 tables. What I do is ring up the order on a computer which I got down the first like hour and Bryon said it usually takes people a whole week to get down. Idiots lol I don't have to take money because they all just use their member accounts. I get paid $6.50 an hour and on top of that every bill has a service charge automatically added to it that I get 67% of. On top of that people can add additional tip, so I've been making around $40 to $50 bucks on tips. Add that to the hourly wage and that's some good money!!! I also love the people I work with. The morning staff rules, but I don't really like the night staff thus far. I work with this new cook, Lauren who started the same day I did, and she is pretty awesome. We have fun! My schedule isn't too bad either. I work from 9 to 4 Tuesday through Friday and on Saturday I work 9 to 3. Sunday and Monday I have off, so I'm going to make some mad money this summer!

In the evenings I've been working out right after work. I run on the tread mill and do my crunches. I've lost like 4 pounds even though it doesn't look like it, but hey two scales don't lie haha The only bad thing is my Achilles tendion on my left leg has started to hurt real bad. It burns and feels like it's going to snap so I haven't been able to run for two days now. It sucks, but I have it wrapped and hopefully it will get better fast. I think it's just where I've been on my feet for so many hours this past week. I mean hey I get up at 7:50 and stay active till pretty much 10/10:30. Needless to say I've been exhausted!

Also in the evening I've been going to Grover's Corners practice. I'm having a blast once again and everyone is so much more focused than they were two years ago. I miss Jessica, but Maddy is doing a great job playing Beth. I'm having a blast joking around with Sarah (we pretty much have our own little world from time to time lol). I'm having a blast acting with Stull as well. He gives you so much to feed off of and he trusts his instincts and they are usually right 99.9% of the time. I think so far he's my favorite person to act with. I'm really going to miss having him for filming. Sarah flipped out on him yesterday because she didn't know he wasn't doing the movie. It was pretty funny. Anyway back to the technical stuff. Everything is going so well. I'm concentrating a lot harder on the character of Frank. When I first played him I just pretty much said the lines. Now I'm focusing on motivation and relationships. If I don't feel like somethings right I ask Dan how I can fix it. I really want to make every move I make completely authentic. My performance is quite toned down from last time. I think it's a lot better this time around. I mean last time I was definitely amusing, but I want Frank to have as many dimensions as possible. Hopefully it works. I'm extrememly nervous though about opening on Friday. I really need to hit my lines extremely hard this week. Wish me luck on that end haha

That's pretty much my life right now. Work and Grover's Corners. I think it's going to be a really busy summer, with a lot of no social life except for GC's cast lol I have camping to look foreward to though. That trip is going to be awesome!

Well all things must come to an end and so must this journal. I've finally hit my weekend and tonight we're getting wasted on margaritas @ Rio for Tiffany's birthday! Later kiddos!!!!

» Happy Valentine's Day Everyone!!!
After almost a month long away from Livejournal I have finally returned!!!! Well, I have been reading my friend's pages, but I haven't update because I'm a lazy bitch!!! So for all of you who were wondering if I was alive.....which was nobody because no one ever reads this thing anyway.......I am alive and well.

There really isn't much to update on. Classes suck majorily. English 309 is retarded, and Education 302 and 312 can fit into that same category. Classics is just plain boring. The teacher knows what she is talking about but has no clue how to teach us. Thank god I already know a lot about mythology. My acting class is kind of dull right now. It reminds me of when I was in high school, and had already heard all of everything I was being taught. Now i'm kinda like when's the production...except there won't be a production, only a silly monologue and two person scene. My sexuality courses are awesome! 288 is ok because the class is really quiet, but 388 is insane! I really don't ever want to miss that class because I love it so much. How many people can say that about a class? Everyone I talk to about that class is like Can I come and sit in on that class?!?

Second semester seems to have turned us into a nice little family unit. Rachel, Josh, and Ryan take turns on making big dinners for all of us. When it's my turn to make dinner I typically just go buy a pizza. I can't cook for shit! It's a nice little system we have going on.

We also decided to take a vacation at the beginning of the summer. We are trying to work out all the plans for it by the latest tomorrow. We want to rent a cabin, and basically have a nice wastefest! Hopefully, we can get that worked out.

I've started working out FINALLY! I really needed to get on this earlier but you all know me. I'm very pissed at myself for letting myself gain the weight I did, but hey what can you do? I definitely will be sliming down because if not I will not be taking off my shirt at all this summer, and since we are going campng and taking the boat out that would suck. Plus I do not want to look fat for Grover's Corners. Stupid fat ass me haha

Well once again I have run out of things to say. This is probably why I don't update often.

Much Love to Everyone!!!!!

Oh yea.....if you've never heard the song I'm listening to, download it now....it is awesome!!!!

Ok game night last night was a blast! I kicked ass at Monopoly! Let's just say I was ruthless and ended up owning everything on the board (with hotels on everything) except railroads and utlities, but in the end I got those too MUUUHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA!!!!! So much fun!

» Happy 2006!
In spirit of, well, myself I have once again put off updating for quite sometime. Since all of you know me, and I hardly get any responses on my journal these days...I'm sure you guys could care less haha.

New Years has come and gone once again. This year I didn't get to spend it with a massive ammount of people, but I did have a great time. I spent it with Josh and Mark, and had a really nice time. Yes alcohol was involved because let's face it NEW YEARS, but it was fun. My brother called me about a bazillion times, which I didn't mind. The night ended with me over at Ryan's passing out because we didn't get out of there till like 2:30.

I am currently back at school, and having a good time. Rachel should be back anytime now, and Brett is having a little get together tonight. I'm excited because its been awhile since I hung out with Brett, and I'd really like to drink tonight with my friends. Have a nice drunk evening before classes start. I'm excited about classes starting because I get to see the education crew, I get to have an acting class finally, queer studies (lol), and nights with the crew. Majorily excited!

So my one goal for this year is to lose weight, and be really serious about it. I've gained a few pounds since freshman year and I really dispise it. I want to get back down to the size I was in high school. My main goal is to look pretty decent by May because Grover's Corners is at the end of that month and I really don't want to look fat on stage, let alone when we film it! So to help me I'm going to eat right, walk to class when I have it downtown, use my tapes, and I really really want to start running if I can find someone to do it with me. I've had a few offers so I really hope those pull through.

This past week I've seen about a bagillion movies. The Family Stone (VERY GOOD), King Kong (good but long), Pride and Prejudice (GOOD), Memoirs of a Geisha (BORING BORING BORING), and a crap load of rented movies. Yes, there hasn't been much to do up here. Ryan and I took a trip to Ikea that was fun. I got a lamp lol

Yesterday I went to see The Phantom of the Opera in Pittsburgh with Ryan's dad, Shelly, Ryan of course, and a few other random people. We went to dinner at some really nice resturant and Ryan's dad payed for everyone's meal....10 people at a really nice resturant YIKES!!! Then the show! I know everyone thinks I'm overcritical of shows, but I will give constructive criticism. Christine was bad. Her lower range was good, but when she got up in her higher range it was awful! My ears seriously started to bleed. Raoul was just plain boring. The Phantom was really good, but he tried to do an over the top Phantom voice that a lot of people who play that part get into. Very cartoonish, but when he dropped it and let his voice soar it was amazing! Firmin and Andre were really good. They were exactly what they needed to be. Carlotta was really good, but Piani wasn't very good. Madame Giry was just really boring. It wasn't a bad show, but it lacked the overpowering factor. The music and the vocals never just took over the audience. So basically one of the major downfalls of the show was that the sound sucked. I expect to be blown out of my seat by vocals and the orchestra, but I wasn't. The trip overall was extremely great. Lots of fun.

Well, I've basically caught you guys up with what's going on. Later!
» Yep, ummmm, yep
Christmas has come and gone, and once again it feels like it hasn't even happened. How I long miss the days when you'd go to bed excited and wake up with more presents underneath it. That was cool. I had a good Christmas though. I got an electric razor, a tshirt that says "I'm the evil twin", a big bad ass book of shots, a tetris video game, and a good deal of money. Not a bad Christmas!

I had a lot of fun with the family this Christmas. Well with my cousin Susan. Katie was sick the entire time, and John ummm did the John thing where he upsets my aunt and hangs out with my younger cousins. Its funny how we've separated into our little groups. Susan and I had a nice talk about where we think everyone is headed in the future. It's insane. We both agreed we never thought we'd be discussing adult things. We also never thought we'd be playing drinking games with our younger cousins. I still beat their asses at beer pong! It's amazing how time passes us by. I can remember when we were all kids playing dodgeball, tag, and all the other little kid games. Now here we are a few years later talking about college, signifcant others, money, and the future. It's actually extremely touching that we can still be so close, and yet have so many miles and months between us. Ah, family!

Well I think Josh is having people over so I need to go find out about that. Hopefully it will wake me up because I've been in sleep mode all day. Perhaps it was all the Turkey I ate yesterday.

Oh yea, can anyone explain to me why West Virginia isn't showing the Producers or Brokeback Mountain?!? Your answer can't be because we live in a redneck, conservative, backwoods state. Ugh it pisses me off that we don't get to see the movies the rest of the country gets to see!
